Swap
The Aries Swap product is built upon our Aries Lend, which means that funds that are deposited into Aries can also be used to swap and trade on various AMM markets.
Aries Swap ensures that users swap tokens on Automated Market Maker (AMM) pools with the most liquidity and the best rates.
To swap your tokens:
- Select the asset you would like to swap away and input the amount
- Select the asset you want to swap to below
- The available swap routes will be displayed on the right side of the page, and the route with best price will be selected automatically
- Check the slippage, price impact and minimal amount of the desired token before the final transaction
- Click "Swap" and approve the transaction on your pop-up wallet
- The assets swapped will appear in your connected wallet balances and the borrowed section on the lending page
Swap directly from your deposit
Users can also utilize Aries Swap to gain leveraged exposure on assets through swapping. It relies on Aries Lend’s feature of a shared margin account. This means that you can swap assets that you do not yet hold, but are available on Aries Lend.
- Toggle "Allow Borrowing" on. This allows you to borrow any token from Aries Lend pools and trade it into the token you want, giving you additional market exposure
- Select the asset you would like to swap away and input the amount
- Select the asset you want to swap to below
- The available swap routes will be displayed on the right side of the page, and the best price will be selected automatically, you can choose among different routes as you wish.
- Check the borrowing APY, slippage and minimal amount of the desired token before the final transaction
- Click "Swap" and approve the transaction on your pop-up wallet
Leverage-enabled Swap
Here is an example, if a user wants to gain additional long exposure to BTC — he/she can turn on “Allow Borrowing” and swap USDC into BTC, without having to deposit any USDC.
